Warfare in Your Region
"Warfare to me is yielding to the joy,
yielding to what God is doing and saying
and then manifesting that."
~ Dr. Kevin L. Zadai
After you watch the video and read the study notes on this page, answer these questions here on the Blog mentioned above:
I entreat you when I do come [to you] that I may not [be driven to such] boldness as I intend to show toward those few who suspect us of acting according to the flesh [on the low level of worldly motives and as if invested with only human powers]. For though we walk (live) in the flesh, we are not carrying on our warfare according to the flesh and using mere human weapons. For the weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood], but they are mighty before God for the overthrow and destruction of stronghold [Inasmuch as we] refute arguments and theories and reasonings and every proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God; and we lead every thought and purpose away captive into the obedience of Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One), Being in readiness to punish every [insubordinate for his] disobedience, when your own submission and obedience [as a church] are fully secured and complete.
—2 Corinthians 10:2-6 (AMPC)
DISCUSSION:
God is moving by His Spirit, and we want to yield to Him. Wherever we are in the world, we are there for a reason. When you wake up in the morning, you are affecting your region in your country or state. Even when you sleep and have dreams or visions from the Lord, you affect where you live. We have to intercede and pray and ask the Lord to come into our lives in a special way. To give and receive and interact with one another and partake in all of this to wage warfare on the devil —the effect of the decisions we make leads to what happens. When we choose to obey God and love Him, we see the positive results from doing that. If we decide to disobey Him, then we see the curses. (see Deuteronomy 28). We think that this is just from The Old Testament, but it is also part of the New Covenant. Jesus says, "If you love me, obey my commandments." (see John 14 and 15).
• If you obey Him, you can have what you ask of Him.
• You're waging war in your region by being who you are —waking up every morning engaging with God in "Yes” prayers. By saying yes to Deuteronomy
28 and John 14 & 15, you have picked a side
• There's a war going on, so it's time to pick a side.
• There are no neutral positions. You can't just say I'm going to sit this one out. • There are things that you can do that you wouldn't think is warfare.
• To most people, warfare is wrestling with devils. 2 Corinthians 10 reveals what warfare is.
• We take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. Most people do not have a devil in them but what we call a drive-by devil. In other words, they have devil's that maintain them, and they come and go. They're mobile.
How can you individually make an effect on your region? Before today were you aware that this was possible?
THE WARFARE IN YOUR MIND
The devil influenced Peter in the Bible to speak in the name of satan to Jesus, and Jesus said, "Get thee behind me, satan." He said, "You do not have the things of God in mind but the things of man." What is real warfare, and what does that mean when dealing with people and situations and governments? Paul talks about it in Warfare is in our mind.
• The mind is the center of the interaction between the spirit and the flesh.
• The mind is part of the soul.
• The soul is made up of the mind, will, and emotions.
• The soul connects between the spirit and the flesh.
• Our spirit is the eternal part of us that lives forever, whether in Heaven or hell. • We decide where we're going to go for eternity.
• Jesus has provided for us to be born again through a new birth. We are new creatures, a new creation in Christ. (see John 3 and 2 Corinthians 5:17).
The region you're in might be promoting a specific agenda in the spirit that you may not even realize is going on unless you look at its manifestations coming up in your community. It may manifest itself through conversation, the media, and the government. You could be pushed in a direction, but it has a spiritual origin, and there's an agenda. For example, let's look at fear; you might be fearful and cannot discern why. There's a good indication that there's a spirit of fear working, and we just don't know how to process it. It gets left out on the table and not processed or dealt with, and it starts to become an irritation.
• Paul is saying we're going to refute arguments because this is how evil spirits manifest.
• Warfare works like this; you can be talking to people and listen to what they're saying, and you'll know what spirit is working.
• If people are misinformed, how do they get misinformed? They most likely were listening to the wrong channel. They were listening to incorrect information, and they took it as truth.
When Jesus would look on the crowd, He'd say that the people were like sheep without a shepherd. They needed a shepherd. The Pharisees couldn't do it for them. They weren't shepherds or fathers, and they weren't helping people.
Then somebody comes along who fathers and tells the truth, and people become judgmental.
• We judge things and people mentally.
• In the spirit, if we had discernment, we could see that people are in fear right now; it's a spirit.
• Paul said that we don't receive that spirit of fear. We have been given a spirit of love and of power and of a sound mind. (see 2 Timothy 1:7).
• Paul said we refute arguments, theories and reasonings, and every proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the true knowledge of God.
• There's misinformation out there, and it may be a spiritual thing or a spiritual origin, but you can’t put your finger on it.
• Sometimes you feel like it’s easier to give up and not fight anymore.
• If God tells you it’s not your battle, then that’s different, you need to hightail it out of there, but if it is your battle, then you may be part of the resistance to what the evil spirits are doing.
• Paul said the god of this world that had deceived you at one time until you came into the kingdom is the prince of the power of the air.
• It's through his desires that he manipulates people so he can confront you in your thoughts.
• Thoughts can be false, and they can cause feelings much like a theatrical production.
• God sets Himself up as the one true God who gives us all the truth.
• Anything that rises up and disputes that truth we have to bring into captivity to the obedience of Christ.
• We may not know about the warfare in our region, but it’s likely intended to push an agenda.
What do you discern about the agendas being enforced in your region? What are you going to do about it?
It’s like what the serpent did to Eve —he started to dispute and present lies to her that if you eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, you will be like God. When we travel all over the world, or state to state —you can feel the changes of the strongholds in the different regions. It's different everywhere we go, but it’s still the same devil. When spiritual entities in your region confront, you have to have something that works. We must know the truth in the Word of God. When that truth fortifies within you, and you encounter warfare, you’ll know what to do.
• If the thoughts you have do not sound like His truth and you cannot find it in the Bible, you have to arrest that thought and say, No, we're not going there. I'm not wrestling against flesh and blood. I'm not wrestling against these thoughts that are exalting themselves above the knowledge of God, and I’m taking them into captivity
• The Bible says to incarcerate them. Handcuff your thoughts and carry them out. You don't ever allow that serpent to talk to you again.
WARFARE YOU CAN DO IN YOUR REGION
2 Corinthians 9:7: Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
• Give of your time in your region.
• Do something kind for somebody.
• Call someone and encourage them or send them flowers.
• You can give a gift financially to someone in need, like a single parent.
• You can donate food from your pantry.
• You could give by helping your community.
• You could give a prophetic word to someone.
• You can minister to someone.
• Do whatever God puts in your heart to do. Don’t do it in response to pressure, but out of love because you love God, and He loves you.
• When you give, do it cheerfully.
Proverbs 3:9-10 NLT: Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine.
Anytime you’re encountering warfare, you’re going to feel like going into survival mode. If you can, just keep giving because it will bring a breakthrough. Jesus Christ in you is the hope of glory. You’re in Him, and He is in you. That’s a tight connection you have with Him, and you have the victory.
• When you feel tempted to shut down, do something that He shows you to do.
• Do it willingly, not under compulsion. God loves a joyful giver.
There’s going to be a strength that comes to you.
• Stay in the outflow of giving.
• Pray in the Spirit.
• Pray for somebody else.
• Help others.
• When you stay in the outflow, you keep yourself on the offensive and in the victory.
• You gain a place of intercession in the Lord.
• You enter into the rest. That’s where you pass the test.

PRAYER:
Father, I break every power. You've given us authority through the name of Jesus to do this. And so, just like Kathi was saying, Lord, we're not taking thought saying. So we're not going to allow those thoughts to come into a verbal confession because our tongue is a rudder, and it steers our whole life. So we're not going to take thought saying. We're not going to let that manifest, but we're going to seek the kingdom and let what we say with our lips be what you say and that only. And so I bind the power of the enemy. I break fear, and I drive it out in Jesus' name Amen.
